The best strings I have ever used

The year is 1938. Moments after Walter Donovan takes a healthy swig of holy water from an ornate chalice, Dr. Jones and Dr. Schneider watch in terror as Donovan’s body decomposes in a few horrific seconds. The Knight looks upon the scene with calm indifference and quietly proclaims, 

“He chose… poorly.”

I recall this scene from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade nearly every time I put new strings on my instrument. Like Indy and his companions, I too am on a search for an item of mythical proportions; the perfect set of violin strings. And, like Donovan, I often choose..poorly.
