Matthew Madonia is a Houston-based violinist and orchestra director recognized for his emotional depth, natural virtuosity, and ability to connect audiences to music. His performances—ranging from symphonic and chamber repertoire to crossover and contemporary projects—are known for their intensity, accessibility, and impact.

He performs with the Victoria Symphony Orchestra and Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra and has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician in venues including Carnegie (Weill) Hall and across Europe. As a freelance artist, he has collaborated with Il Divo, Sarah Brightman, Michael Bolton, Josh Groban, and others.

Madonia is Director of Orchestras at Stephen F. Austin High School in Sugar Land, Texas, where he leads a thriving program and a private studio that consistently produces Region and All-State musicians. He is founder and artistic director of Sounds of One Chamber Orchestra and a violinist with Trio Allora. His recital work has generated significant philanthropic support for education, healthcare, and community initiatives.
